Integrating Central Oregon Innovation into the Great Northwest
Inventors NorthWest meeting is held the second Monday of every month in Audubon Room at The Environmental Center, 16 NW Kansas, Bend OR 97701 at 6:00 PM. The Environmental Center is one block south of McMenamins.
Our speaker this month will be Clark Johnson, Business Development Officer for the State of Oregon. He will be discussing how the State of Oregon supports start-up companies and will be handing out printed materials with time open for a Q & A afterwards.
Also, please bear in mind that as we begin the New Year we will be collecting dues for 2012, as noted below. The funds are vital covering the overhead and other costs of Inventors NorthWest.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
About Inventors Northwest
The purpose of Inventors NorthWest is to be a catalyst for people to develop ideas into products, and integrating them with local commerce for the purpose of increasing the economic base of Central Oregon and the Northwest. As the newly elected board of directors focuses on refining a strategic plan, we are asking for all in attendance at the meeting for input as to how we can help you the most. This will be an ongoing discussion and process in meetings to come.
Remember, meeting attendees have signed a nondisclosure agreement so as to create a safe environment for discussing your idea.
Inventors NorthWest meetings can be attended by anyone, we will be collecting annual dues to cover 2011 at the door, now $40 per member, $50 per couple. $100 per business entity, (multiple employee/ members). These minimal dues are essential to cover increases in facilities expenses, tax filings, banking fees, website maintainence, and to help fulfill plans for future growth.
